Published on 21 Sep 2018 / In Horror

Blu Hunt, known for its role in the fantasy / horror series The Originals, is the new name of the upcoming X-Men: The New Mutants of 20th Century Fox. Hunt's role is assigned to the role of an Indian telepath girl Danielle Moonstar / Mirage, a character inspired by the hero Demon Bear from Marvel's comics. The rest of the cast is made up of Anya Taylor-Joy (Split, The Witch) as Magik, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones, Doctor Who) as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things, Shut In) as Cannonball and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) Sunspot. The character of an alien Warlock will appear as a CGI creation. Rosario Dawson (Marvel's Daredevil) is still negotiating a role in the film in which he should portray the leaders of a group of five teenagers who own supermodels. Previously announced James McAvoy will not appear in the role of Charles Xavier.
Before filming began in July, director The Fault in Our Stars announced the release of The New Mutants as a supernatural horror whose action is located in the X-Men universe without costumes and super-stars. In addition to Boone, the film script is run by his childhood friend, producer Knate Lee (Bad Grandpa).

The release of The New Mutants brings us an adaptation of the eponymous monthly comic series that was launched in 1982. The series was created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod, followed by a group of teenage mutants and their training for the X-Men universe. It is expected that this film will be different from other X-Men films, and is described as a performance within which "Stephen King meets John Hughes".
